The rapid evolution of digital technologies has disrupted traditional models of content creation, distribution, and consumption, prompting a critical reassessment of copyright laws worldwide. This research examines the extent to which existing copyright frameworks remain effective in the face of digital innovations such as streaming platforms, peer-to-peer file sharing, artificial intelligence (AI)-generated content, and blockchain. The study employs doctrinal legal research, comparative analysis, and case law review to explore the challenges posed by the digital environment and the adequacy of current copyright protections. Findings reveal significant gaps in legal coverage, enforcement mechanisms, and international harmonization. The paper concludes with practical recommendations for modernizing copyright regimes to better balance the rights of creators, users, and intermediaries in the digital age.
